Pantry organized and cleaned............ done

Office reorganized and cleaned...........done

Touch up paint around house..............done

Fix bed that's been broken for a year...done

Fix all those broken drawers...............done

This is a list of just a few things that Kurt and I did on our "vacation" this past week. Kurt had to take a few days off of work before March 17th when his vacation days expire. So we talked about going to Vegas or to St. George, even just up to Park City for a couple nights and at the last minute decided to vacation at home and get those projects done around the house that really needed it. So, we dropped the kids off at my moms and went to it! We worked really hard but still had time to go out for lunches and dinners and one night even saw a 10:30p.m. movie. I felt as if I were doing something crazy by leaving our house at 10:00 at night. I know, it's a little pathetic.

We had a great time together, alone, as a couple working on projects. I didn't mind not getting up early in the morning, getting sippy cups and cereal first thing and having a little freedom, but by the end of the three days I was ready to see my cute kids. It was a great vacation.

Here are a few pictures of our vacation and the finished products!I was cracking myself up because I would set the timer on the camera to take our picture and hurry and then run and pretend I was working. Kurt wasn't as amused.

This bed had been held up by books for the past year, I'm excited to finally have it fixed!
