As a mother of 2 girls I am forced to avoid the pink cups, plates, bowls, spoons, and anything else, unless I have enough clean for each girl. If I use a pink something for one girl, that one girl brags, and the other girl is disappointed and whining. I'm a true believer in: you get what you get and you don't throw a fit, but sometimes it's just the look they give each other when they have a pink cup and the other one doesn't. Or the happy, little wiggle they do on their chair. This has led me to avoid pink unless there is no other option. I'll pull plates from the bottom of the pile just to not give out a pink one. It eliminates problems in our home.
