School's Out for Summer!

Raegan has successfully finished her very first year of preschool and she loved every minute of it, I also loved every minute of it! She did so well! I am so proud of all the things that she has learned. Her teacher this year was Mrs. Rodabough and she was great with the kids, firm, but loving which is exactly what Raegan needs. When I had my parent teacher conference with Raegans teacher I was told that Raegan has learned more then expected at this age and that she is tender, loving, and the leader of the class. This is something that Raegans church teachers have also told me. Mrs. Rodabough said that at times she feels as if she has a mini me in the class and sometimes Raegan has to be reminded that she isn't the teacher. I'm glad that Raegan is building self confidence, I hope that it doesn't come back to bite me in her teenage years.Mrs. Rodabough, Sariah, and Raegan

Macy's First Haircut

Snip, snip! I know what you're all thinking, isn't Macy over 2 years old and she hasn't had a haircut until now! Well, it's true, I thought I would try to grow her hair out long so that I could do fun hair-do's. The mullet got to be too much for too long, so we had to say goodbye to her semi-long locks. Heidi was good enough to come to my house to trim her up and give her a really cute new do that I just love on her. Macy was great during her haircut, and we kept her distracted with treats to avoid any problems; once again, I'm using food to control her. I promise I really do put a limit on her treats a day, every time I turn around Macy is asking for food. Like I said before, the girl loves to eat! Anyway, I love her haircut and thank you Heidi for making her darling!

Farewell Jazz!

Well, it's all over for the Jazz and I had to bid a farewell to them. The past couple years Kurt has gone in on season Jazz tickets with a couple of buddies and we all split up the games. I have to admit I'm not a die hard fan but I loved going to the games with Kurt and cheering them on. If your ever going to sit next to Kurt during a game you have to be prepared to be deaf in the ear that's next to him because he screams so loud and is on his feet the entire game. I'm also sure that he's purchased a new Jazz t-shirt every time he attends a game.
Kurt is a sports fanatic and I have to say that I'm grateful that we don't have a pro football team. I already become a football widow during NFL . To be honest, I want to cry when it's football season. Anytime Kurt is home he is watching some sort of sport it doesn't matter what it is, he loves it all. It is his obsession. Putting all that aside, I did enjoy being apart of one of his loves and I'm sad to see the Jazz go this year.

Raegan Jo

It's been awhile since I wrote down all the crazy stuff that Raegan says. So today I decided to take notes, here's what I got so far:

Raegan, "Mom, I know where Jesus lives."
Me, "Where?"
Raegan, "On the Earth by the snow penguins in the July."
Me, " Honey, he lives in Heaven with Heavenly Father."
Raegan, very frustrated with me, "I KNOW!!!"

Raegan, "Guess what's in the clouds!"
Me, " What?"
Raegan, "Chocolate strawberry icecream!"

Raegan was yelling at me to come wipe her bum in the bathroom. I come in and say "Stinky!"
Raegan says, "But don't you like my poo poos Mom?"
Me, "no"
Raegan, "But their girls!"

Raegan, "Mom can you do me a favorite?" (favor)
Me, "Yes, what is it?"
Raegan, "Can you go in the kitchen and I'll tell you I want a cookie and you say no and then I'll think I'll have a brand new favorite. I will just wat one cookie at a brake, can you do that as a favorite?"

ROAD. TRIP. ROAD...

TRIP! That's what my new van kept chanting to me, so off to Vegas and St. George we went! We met Chris and Stormi and their kids there and swam, swam, swam. It was so nice to be in sunny weather and spend some time as a family.
I've decided that when we have endless amounts of money we'll move to a warmer climate for the months of January through May.

Macy hated the water, anytime someone would ask her if she wanted to get in she would put her hand out and yell, "NO SWIM!". I had to teach her to at least yell, "NO THANK YOU!".
We couldn't get Raegan out of the water, although she wouldn't go in the water without her life jacket. Good thing were taking swimming lessons this year.
