Don't cry over spilt milk.

I always hear the saying: "Don't cry over spilt milk", well I'm just wondering, is it okay to cry over spilled milk if it is accompanied with spilled cereal, pee all over the bathroom floor, diaper blow-outs, sick kids that can't sleep because they can't breathe out of their noses and lay miserably coughing their brains out? Is it okay to cry then? I'm not actually at the point where I feel like I need to cry.....yet, but I do feel terrible for my kids. They both have had horrible colds, fevers, coughs, and the runs (in their noses and bums). Raegan, the other night had a temperature of 104.3! I called her doctor panicked and they told me not to worry unless it was 105 degrees. Isn't 104.3 close enough! Raegan actually did really well considering she was so sick.

My poor Macy along with the cold thing had a rash that covered her entire body. Last week the girls and I went to the hospital to deliver a care package to one of Raegans friends who was admitted for RSV and influenza. While we were in the lobby waiting, (since we weren't allowed in to see her friend) Macy was climbing all over the chairs and I look over at her just in time to see her pull a used, snotty tissue out of the hospital waste basket and of course she has to use it herself to wipe her nose! GROSS! OUT OF THE HOSPITAL TRASH! Who knows who put it there, or why they were there in the first place! Maybe they had some horrible disease and were waiting to be admitted! I know I shouldn't let my mind wander but it's still completely disgusting! This may explain Macy's body rash. Poor babies, and poor mom!

On a completely different note: Blogging is completely addicting! If you're reading this then you know. I am following Kristen Mendenhalls example and only blogging after I've done something productive. I have a long list of things that I would like to get done sometime in the near future and blogging is going to help me get those things done. Yesterday, I really wanted to blog, so I took out "the list" and picked to go through our 72 hrs kits and add to them. I'm I now fully prepared for diaster, as long as it doesn't last more then 72 hours! Hopefully this will keep me in check, and I'll be getting some projects done. After taking care of sick kids all day and cleaning up multiple "accidents" of all types I decided I deserved to blog. Oh boy, I'm justifying it already !
